زيارة منصفة إلى  التاريخ

سير ستيفن رانسيمان أستاذ ورءيس قسم التاريخ فى جامعتى أوكسفورد وكايمبريدج كان أول وآخر أكاديمى يتربع على كرسى الأستاذ لدراسات علوم التاريخ فى اثنتين من أعظم  جامعات العالم وأعرقهم فى القارة الأوروبية وأقدمهم بين جامعات العالم باستثناء القرويين فى المغرب والأزهر فى مصر , وكان أشهر دارساً للتاريخ فى القرن العشرين وأعدله
حكماً وأكثرهم إنصافاً للتاريخ العربى والإسلامى بلا مسالب ولا ملامات

فى حياته, قلدته إليزابيث الثانية ملكة اإنجلترا والكومون ويلث البريطانى لقب فارس الإمبراطورية وقلدته أميناً للتاريخ الإمبراطورى ومؤرخ التاج الملكى. واستضافته أعرق وأكبر جامعات العالم شرقاً وغرباً ( إلا الجامعات  العربية والإسلامية ) للمحاضرة فى  تاريخ الحروب الصليبية وتاريخ الحضارة الإسلامية ومساهماتها العظيمة فى بناء الحضارات الغربية

أسس وقفاً أكاديمياً للدراسات العليا للتاريخ باسم القائد العظيم صلاح الدين  الأيوبى فى جامعة كايمبريدج اعترافا بقدرهً بعد أن كَلّلَهُ واحداً من أنبل القادة  العظام فى التاريخ الإنسانى قاطبة , ولكن بعد رحيله  فى نوفمبر عام 2000  ألغت هذا الوقف الأكاديمى جماعات الصهيونية الحاقدة وما أكثرها نفوذاً فى  العالم الأكاديمى فى الغرب 

 وبعد رحيله لم تذكره صحيفة عربية أو إسلامية واحدة ولا عرفته جامعة  عربية أو إسلامية واحدة , ولذلك فانه من أكثر دواعى الخجل للأوساط الأكاديمية العربية  الإسلامية أن يحيا ويموت ذلك الرجل ويكرس حياته العملية والأكاديمية فى خدمة التاريخ الإسلامى ويكتب قبل مماته ثلاثة أعمال فى سبعة مجللدات عملاقة فى الحضارة الإسلامية والتاريخ
الإسلامى ودورها الفاعل فى البناء الحضارة الغربية ويحتفل به الغرب الصليبيى المضلل ليموت نكرة فى عالمنا المسلم الذى أفنى عمره ليحيي ذكراه التى كان قد اغتالها المضللون الصليبييون

رحل سير ستيفن فى الشهر نوفمبر فى شهر نوفمبر من عام 2000 وكانت آخر  أعماله ثلاثاً منها واحداً من ثلاث من المجللدات  العملاقة كل واحدة منها فى  ثلاث آلاف من الصفحات وهو أكبر وأضخم إنتاج فكرى فى تاريخ الحروب  الصليبية  على الإطلاق. والإنتاج الثانى هو "العنكبوت والبومة والموءرخ" وقام  فيه يفند كل أعمال التاريخ من   اليهود  بتزييف تاريخ الحضارة الإسلامى.  والإنتاج الثالث هو " معبر إلى الشرق" ويصف فيه مجتمع الحضارة الإسلامية  وروابطه فى بناء الحضارة الغربية من بعد سقوط دولة الأندلس العظيمة إلى  القرن العشرين


ومن الغريب أن كان هذا العالم الفاهم المنصف من خلال حياته الأكاديمية لا يترك مناسبة عن الحضارة الإسلامية  إلا وينبه العالم الإسلامى بأن ما يدور فيه هو تكرار لأسباب انهيار الدولة الأندلسية بحضارتها العظيمة والتى كانت هى المركز الحضارى الأعظم على القارة الأوروبية حين ما كان الغرب الصليبى منغمساً إلى الأذقان فى ظلام الجهل والبربرية , ثم بعد ذلك كَلّلوه بأكاليل التكريم والشرف أما من أنصفهم وأحيا ذكرى حضاراتهم فلم يعرفوه أو تجاهلوه

و فى إنتاجه العملاق تحت عنوان " تاريخ الحروب الصليبية " كتب سير ستيفن يقول إن موجات من الهمجية البربرية انطلقت من ربوع القارة الأوروبية جميعاً صوب الشرق تحت دعوى تحرير قدس الأقداس من براثن الكفرة سلالة اسماعيل وكانوا قد نسوا أن أولاءك هم من قد نبغوا فى العلم و كل العلوم الإنسانية والآداب فى عصورهم الذهبية

ويستطرد سير ستيفين ويكتب: ومن الغريب أن أحفاد أولاءك القباءل البربرية فى العصر  الحديث بعد أن بنوا حضارتهم اقتراضاً من الحضارة  الإسلامية وبناءً على ما اعطتهم من العلم والترجمات أن قد اختاروا ان يزيفوا كتابة التاريخ ليمحوا كل آثارها من تاريخهم ليضلوا ويضللوا.


والحقيقة غير المتنازع عليها هى أن للحضارة  الإسلامية كل الفضل فى نقل العلوم والفنون والآداب إلي أوروبا وترجمة كل فلاسفة العالم القديم إلى كل لغات . الأوروبية حتى تَسَنَى للبشرية أن تصل القديم بالحديث وتتبع خطاه فى مسيرة تطور الإنسان فى عصرنا هذا   وتناول سير ستيفن بالتفصيل أعمال علماء المسلمين وسرد سيرتهم وجميع مساهماتهم بتفصيل دقيق فى فصول  كثيرة من موسوعته لوصف دورهم فى صناعة الحضارة الحديثة. 


ولعل أكثر ما جذب انتباهى كانت ملاحظته فى  العلوم الطبية حيث قال: لم يعد بمستطاع أي دارس منصف للتاريخ أن ينكر أن علماء الطب المسلمين ظللوا يعلمون الغرب فنون وعلوم الطب لفترة تزيد على الثمانمائة عام فى كل كتبهم ومجللداتهم وموساعاتهم الطبية قبل أن يأت الطبيب الفرنسى جون كلود بارنارد بإضافة الحديث إلى  كتب الطب الإسلامية التى كانت ترجمت إلى كل لغات  أوروبا وظللت المراجع الرئيسية فى جميع مدارس الطب حتى نهاية القرن الثامن عشر وبداية القرن التاسع عشر 


 استطرد يقول: ومن المثير للخجل أننا إذا عدنا إلى تلك المراجع الطبية القديمة المترجمة من   لعربية نجد ان القاءمين على ترجمتها تعمدوا بلا أى درجة من درجات الخجل أن يحترفوا فن التزوير بإسقاط الأسماء العربية الإسلامية لمؤلفيها الأصليين كما لو أن تلك  الكتب كانت قد كتبت أنفسها بأنفسها

ومن الطب إلى علوم الرياضيات إلى علوم الكيمياء وعلوم الطبيعة والفلك ترك عمالقة علماء المسلمين من أمثال الخوارزمى وابن حزم وابن سيناء والفارابى تراثاً علمياً هاءلاً يكاد لا يعلم به إلا القليل من أبناء الأمة الإسلامية

يقول سير ستيفن إن من أكبر فلاسفة العلوم الإنسانية فى الغرب من قام بسرقة أعمال أكبر فلاسفة المسلمين جهاراً نهاراً فى قضية عمى عنها حتى أكبر الدارسون العرب فى فرنسا من أمثال طه حسين الذى كانت رسالة الدكتوراه فى أبحاثه عن فيلسوف العرب ابن خلدون , والذى سرق  واقتبس رينيه ديكارت ومكييفيللى أعماله وفلسفته التى كانت بمثابة طفرة فلسفية عملاقة قلبت حقائق علم الاجتماع وعلوم سياسة بناء الدولة الحديثة إلى كل اللغات الأوروبية الحديثة مءات السنين قبل مجيء ديكارت ومكييفيللى 


ومن الغريب  للمراقب لنهج المغتربين ( العرب المتقمصون لحضارة الغرب والاستعلاء على حضارتهم الشرقية ) أن يراهم يتعامون فى تكبر عن حقاىق التاريخ الصلدة ليمتطون جحشات أسيادهم الغربيين الهزيلة العائرة تاركين وراءهم صهوات خيولهم العربية  لأصيلة وقد أغرتهم بهرجة وزخرف حضارة الغرب المادية الزائفة , فيما أنهم لو استعلوا واستعففوا لوجدوا فى حضارتهم أصل الحضارة النبيل , يبنون من حيث انتهى آباؤهم من أجل مستقبل مشرق لأممهم


ومن الشاذ أن نرى أن الحضارة الغربية ترفع رايات الهتاف الاستعلائى فوق أسماء غربية قالوا لنا عنهم فى  سجلات تاريخهم المستنبط أنهم أصحاب الكشوفات العلمية المةهلة فى العصر الحديث. وإذا تناولنا إسماً من هاته الأسماء مثل رينيه ديكارت لوجدنا أنهم يقدموه لنا فى صورة بحر من بحار الرياضيات و جهبذ من جهابذة الكيمياء وأَرْيَباً من عباقرة الفلسفة والحكمة الاجتماعية. وقد سَلَم المستغربون العرب بتلك الادعاءات دون أن يرهقوا ..... أنفسهم بالبحث والتمحيص فى أصول وأمهات التراث الإسلامى العربى حتى يصلوا إلى أم الحقيقة


وأم الحقيقة هى أن رينيه ديكارت اقتبس اقتباساً مخجلاً دون أدنى معايير الديكورَمْ الأخلاقى كل أصول المعادلات  الرياضية فى الجبر والهندسة التحليلية والهندسة الوصفية وحساب التفاضل والتكامل من ابن حزم وجابر ابن حيان  والخوارزمى , ثم ذهب إلى مجللدات ابن سيناء وسرق منها اكتشافاته فى الكيمياء الطبيعية والعضوية دون أن يذكر  اسمه أبداً , ناسباً كل ما وصفه فى العلم لنفسه. ولم يكتفِ بذلك بل تمللككه التبجحبسرقة نظريات الفلسفة  الاجتماعية والعقاءدية ونطريات بناء المجتمعات   السياسية فى الدولة الحديثة من عبد الرحمن ابن الطيب ابن خلدون

 وكيف ولم لا وقد وجد عشيرته العلمية تسرق وتقتبس من الحضارة الشرقية دون أن يجدوا من ينهاهم بمنطق النبل  الأخلاقى من صفهم , ولم يجدوا من يضبطهم ويفضحهم من شراذم المستغربين العرب أو من المستشرقين الغربيين  الذين طأطؤوا رؤوسهم فى ذلة وخنوع لأن أسيادهم الغربيون أشاروا لهم بأن حضارتهم الإسلامية متخللفة وليس ينبغى لها ن يكون لها سبق علمى فى تاريخ البشرية


ولذلك نجد فى فى مجللده الضخم " العنكبوت والبومة والمؤرخ " يستهجن سير ستيفن بسخرية العالِم الفاهم ببواطن  الأمور فى ثقافة مجتمعه الكاره لكل ما هو عربى أو إسلامى ويقول إن من دواعى السخرية أن يصر البعض على  تسمية أعمال ديكارت بالأصولية (أصلية المنشأ من ذاته) والاحتفاء به كواحد من رواد الابتكار العلمى والفكر  الفلسفى ومن أوائل المؤسسين للنظريات العلمية والفلسفية والرياضية , وهو الذى ولد فى

النصف الثانى من العقد  الأخير من القرن السادس عشر ومات تحديداً فى منتصف القرن السابع عشر فى الوقت الذى كانت كل الأعمال المنسوبة إليه موجودة ومترجمة إلى كل اللغات الأوروبية ومتاحة لكل من أراد دراستها أو تكميلها من الدارسين  والباحثين فى كل فروع المعرفة قبل مجيئه إلى الحياة بفترات تراوحت ما بين الماءة عام والخمسماءة عام وفق الحقب الزمانية التى عاش ومات فيها أصحابها العرب المسلمون الأولون.

ويتساءل سير ستيفن هل يمكن لعاقل أن لا يسائل رينيه ديكارت لو كان حياً بيننا الآن كيف ومن أين أتيت بكل  هذا الكم الذاخر من الحصيلة العلمية بكل حروفها ونصوصها وتدرجها العلمى والمنطقى والفكرى وانتمائها الى  أنشطة مؤتمر الإنسانية باختلافاتها الهائلة والتى أحذت  أصحابها الأُوَلْ خمسماءة عام لاستنباطها دون أن يتسنى  لك أن تمر بها وتدرسها لتذكر أصحابها الأوائل كما يجب على العالِم أن يفعل؟ ثم هل يمكن لمنصف من دارسى التاريخ أن يتعامى عن تلك الحقائق المذهلة ويسقط حق التاريخ فى إثبات   الحقائق إلا إن كان من الموتورين؟


وإلى ما انتهى إليه سير ستيفن رانسيمان نستطرد نحن بالتعقيب بأن أي دارس للتاريخ الإنسانى ربما يصف  ديكارت بأنه نقل أفكار وعلماء وفلاسفة المسلمين من ثقافتهم التى كتبوا فيها إلى ثقافة مختلفة بأسلوب ونهج  مختلف , ولكن لا يوجد عاقل منصف يقر بمقولة أن ديكارت كان مبتكراً مستقلاً لم يدر بأعمال من سبقوه برغم  ثوابت الحقيقة الصلدة من التطابق المطلق بين الأفكار والسرد والتحليل الوصفى والرياضى والعلمى والفلسفى مع اختلاف مهمل فى أسلوب العرض والتناول

ولذلك فإذا تناولنا اعمال ابن خلدون بالنقد والتحليل ثم انتقلنا إلى ديكارت , سوف نجد أن ابن غلدون كان قد  أبحر بنا إلى أعماق محيطات الفلسفات الجريكية الروحية والمادية القديمة ونقدها وفندها بالمنطق العقلانى الحديث  ليقدم إلينا فلسفة جديدة أكثر ملاءمة لعصره وتطور مجتمع الإنسانية حيث كان زمانه , رافضاً كثيراً مما سبقه  ..إليه الفلاسفة اليونان ومجدداً ومنتهياً إلى ما نحن قد أجمعنا على قبوله أما ديكارت فقد بدأ بنا بما انتهى اليه  ابن خلدون وانتهى بنا إلى ما انتهى إليه ابن خلدون  أى بكل بساطة أبحر بنا  ديكارت من ميناء ابن خلدون  إلى بحار ابن خلدون ثم عاد ورسى بنا فى ميناء ابن  لدون ثم قيل لنا إن تلك كانت رحلة جديدة! ..... ربما كانت الميناء جديدة لأنها تقع على أرض فرنسية أما الرحلة فهى قديمة والبحار هى كما هى لم تتغير وفى النهاية فالحق ما شهدت به الأعداء. والحق أن سير ستيفن رنسيمان ليس بعدو ولكنه أتى إلينا من صفوف  أبدت للعالم الأسلامى العداوة والبغضاء وما أخفت قلوبهم أعظم

ولذلك فقد أظهر لنا سير ستيفن  بجلاء أنْ إذا جاء الخبر من صفوف الأعداء إنصافاً لنا حتى لو كان حامل الخبر صديقٌ منهم فقد صدقنا القول وهناك القليل من أجيال نشأت فى مصر يفعل إن نبوغ العللامة ابن خلدون لا يعزى إلى أنه كان بحراً فى كل العلوم والمعرفة فحسب ولكن لأنه أول فلاسفة زمانه الذى دمج دراساته المتبحرة العملاقة ووضعالمشروع الأول من خلال هذا الدمج للتحليل التاريخى فى فروع  العلم الذى قسمه وفصله إلى علوم إنسانية تاريخية اجتماعية سياسية اقتصادية وشرعية ربط بها وبنظائرها الرياضية والطبيعية والكيميائية أنماط نمو مجتمعات الإنسانية , وهو الذى ولد فى تونس وتعلم فيها وعمل بالقضاء الشرعى وحورب من قبل قبائل الجهل والأحقاد حتى اضطر إلى النزوح لمصر , وهناك بزغ نور العلم فى الوادى الخصيب  وفى مصر عمل قاضياً للقضاة وأكمل دراساته فى كل فروع العلم والمعرفة وابتكر النظرية التحليلية الفلسفية لسلوك  الإنسان وفكره كاسراً بذلك النظرة الساكنة لفلاسفة اليونان القدماء باستقدامه لفكر فلسفى حديث سماه بالعقلانية ( Rationalism)وكانت تلك النظرة الفلسفية الحديثة هى نواة العمل الفلسفى لكل مفكرى الغرب بدأً من عصور النور إلى عصرنا الحديث وبذلك فهو أول مفكر يخرج عن سياق التواتر الذى كان متبعاً منذ فلاسفة اليونان سوكراطيس وأفلاطون وأريسطوطل ويبتكر المنهاج التحليلى لكل فروع العلم والمعرفة ويربطها بتاريخ قيام وسقوط مجتمعات البشر  


وفى منتهى الحديث عن ابن خلدون , هناك قول مأثور تفوه به جون فيتزجيرالد كينيدى رائيس الولايات المتحدة بين  العامين 1961 و 1963 الذى كان قد قال " لا تسأل عما يمكن أن تفعله من أجلك بلادك ولكن اسأل عما يمكن أن  تفعله أنت من أجل بلادك" ... ولا تكل ولا تمل إذاعات بنى صهيون من ترويج تلك العبارة ناسبين عبقرية المعنى

إلى ابنهم الكاثوليكى البار وهم الذين كانوا قد اغتالوه نطراً لسياساته غير المعلنة المعارضة لصهيونيتهم اللئيمة الطامعة ..... وقبله بأكثر من ستماءة عام كتب ابن خلدون يقول: " إن عبقرية الرعية تكمن فى أن لا تسأل عما يمكن أن تقدمه لها الأوطان ولكن فى أن تنجز بالأفعال أعمالاً من نتائجها أن تقوم وتحيَ الاوطان."

A New Political Dawn is Breaking in Egypt



The Muslim Brotherhood, Arguably, are the most highly organized political party in the land. Denying them or underestimating their power will be futile. Granted, they have never been tested in either government or as a legitimate political party since their inception as an ideological political movement. But their organizational skill, even by world standard, has been nonpareil

To an outsider, they are seen as the principle movers and shakers and the pillars of the political infrastructure in Egypt. Denying them their right of inclusion strictly on the basis of rejecting their ideology would be both frivolous political doodling and untenable wishful thinking. It would be practical and highly advisable to accept them for what they are; a formidable political powerhouse deserving the right to contribute to Egypt's future even if you disagree with everything they stand for.

Their detractors are few, incredibly ineffective and politically inept. Lacking real grass roots, they are incapable of competing with them on any level. The Muslim Brotherhood have grass roots projecting deeply in the hearts and minds of the largest segment of society where their opponents operate on the bare margins of existence. They embody a dream for which ordinary Egyptians have long yearned over four tumultuous political eras belonging to 5 successive clamoring generations.

If they succeed in accomplishing what they promised, so be it; their rivals might just have to get used to eating political crow. If they fail, they will be, like their political contemporary regimes, subject to the law of natural attrition. In the end, they do exist, they are active, they are powerful and they have well-oiled socio-political machinery. 

They appear to have vetted a powerful cadre of able and visionary technocrats to administer their ambitious platform; aptly named "Rising Egypt".  They have demonstrated by the preponderance of the evidence that they have full intention of engaging their political machination to its fullest potential.

The way I see Egypt's political theater now, observing from afar, Brotherhood opponents like it or not, there is no circumventing working with them, and more often than not, in either subservient roles or deferring matters to their nods of approval. They have won with a sweeping mandate which gives them absolute parliamentary commanding power. The question of abusing this power does not arise, at least in theory, since they are extremely sensitive to the temperature of the political street. They have a pretty accurate thermometer. It is called, ""The huddled Masses."

Their platform is simple yet, upon hearing it, potent. Social, industrial and educational renascence, and reconstruction of Egypt's cultural, military and economic power to bring it back to its traditional role as the leading power in the Arab world and Africa as well as one of the three formidable regional powers on equal footing with Iran and Turkey and logically surpassing them when standing with the Arab world behind it. 


In terms of organization and mass appeal, compared to the Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt's rival political powers are second rate . For mass popular support, they are not even on competing level. But if they come to terms with accepting the new reality; a reality with the Brotherhood role has been determined and made dominant by the power of the ballot, they stand a better chance of remaining afloat on the political surface. This way, political diversity will have a true meaning, democracy will stand the test of time and Brotherhood detractors ranging from liberals and socialists to right wingers and feminists will flourish rather than wither and desiccate in the wake of the political hot, dry gale force wind of change of the Brotherhood.

Egypt’s first democratic election is slated for 05/23/2012, and preparations are underway. The process appears to be progressing smoothly without major anomalies. When considering a scenario of a possible outcome, an observer finds it difficult to pin point an absolutely clear winner in the first round. It appears that run-offs will be inevitable.

There are two candidates running on platforms with an Islamic background on one level or another and one with a leftist progressive and national platform in addition to two “Folools”, which means remnants of the ousted Mubarak’s regime.

1) Muhammad Mursi, a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from the University of Southern California, USA. He served in the capacity of Asst. Professor in the school of engineering at California State University, Northridge. In 1985 he returned to Egypt and was awarded tenure as professor of engineering at the University of Zaqaziq. He had been politically active during the Mubarak’s regime and had won a parliamentary seat in an election that scared the regime so much so that they had to defraud him of his seat. Selected for the world's best parliamentarian award for the years 2000-2005. He is the official candidate of the Muslim Brotherhood.


2) Abdul Moneim Abul Fotouh, a Physician turned politician with extensive experience in managing international charitable and professional NPO, which is a highly involved political career on both the national and international levels. He had long been active member of the Muslim Brotherhood in good standing and a prominent figure in its executive committee before he was forced to resign upon deciding to run for president against the Brotherhood’s declared policy at the time of post-revolutionary political effervescence.


3) Hamidean Sabahi, a left of the center candidate with a Nasserist Pan-Arab national platform. He does not have an Islamic agenda but accepts Egypt’s identity as an Islamic nation with a vociferous voice for full equal rights based on citizenship alone. He acknowledges the excesses of the Nasser Dictatorship but highly praises Nasser's ideology and ambitious national dream, thus vowing to revive the dream learning from its lessons  and avoiding the negative aspects of its experience.



4) Ammro Moosa; Former Foreign Minister of the Ousted Regime and Secretary General of the Arab League under Mubarak’s Dictatorial Hegemony. (Folool.)






5) Retired Air Marshal Ahmad Shafiq; former commander of the air force. Served in the rank of wing commander when Mubarak was Air Chief-Marshal. Upon his retirement from the air force, Mubarak created a cabinet post specifically for him in which, he served as Minister of Civil Aviation. During the revolution, Mubarak appointed him prime minister; a short-lived career that was terminated by the revolution and the ignominious fall of the Mubarak’s regime. (he is a Folool.)

Observers believe that in all likelihood the election might be heading for a run-off between the two front runners, Mursi and Fotooh. But regardless of who will ultimately end up holding the mantle of power for Egypt’s top boss job, Egyptians, it appears, are ready, willing and quite capable of embracing the democratic process. Democracy, it seems, is growing extremely rapidly in the valley of the Nile.

Once Upon a Time in Egypt




Once upon a time:
An Islamist decided to run for political office



He won! … They said, “Only because of his religious platform & hollow slogans.”


He lost … They said, “What did he expect? Religion and politics do not mix!”


He Boycotted the election race … They said, “Look how negative he is!”


His party won third of the electorate seats … They said, “Of course, he wants to veto all the bills”


His party won only minority seats … They said, “Look at him, that’s his true size!”


He won a unanimous victory … They said, “He has been eyeing a mandate to make it a theocracy!”


He let his beard grow … They said, “He’s all-rituals but no substance for piety”


He shaved his beard … They said, “Hypocrite!”


He sued them for libel … They said “He is abusing the judiciary to assail free speech.


He lost control and heaped them with verbal abuse … They said, “Look how degenerate he is!”


He abandoned them and retreated to meditative seclusion … they said, “Look how melancholic he is!”


He took to meditative reading of the Quran … They said, “Witchcraft!”


He prayed “Suffice I am in God’s Protection and his is the pinnacle of Agency… They said, “Black-magic!”


He sprang to head for work … They said, “Greedy for the booties of life!”


He took to Tahrir Square … They said, “He is just riding the revolutionary parade!”


He abandoned Tahrir Square … They said, “He’s Betrayed the revolution!”


He gave up and threw the towel … They said, “He skipped town after he had ruined it!”

In 2008 US Presidential Election ushered in the 56th President of the United States. The Election, carried out every 4 years, was completed on 4 November with the new president officially sworn in on 22 January of 2009

Democrat Barack Obama, then the junior United States Senator from Illinois, defeated Republican John McCain, the senior U.S. Senator from Arizona. Obama received a sweeping mandate by winning 365 electoral votes vs. 173 for his Republican opponent John McCain.   This mandate would have been sufficient to give Obama unprecedented powers should he have been the candidate with the necessary skill and experience to use it.    He was not.

Barack Obama ran on a simple platform promising sweeping change in the machinery of government and gave his popular constituency a hope that he was neither able to, nor did he actually have any intention of carrying out. It was a great disappointment in the man and his agenda.

This election packed so many firsts that it stands out in US political history as the most significant since WW II.     It was the first U.S. presidential election, in which a non-white received the nomination of one of the two major parties as well as the first election in which a non-white was elected President,

During the early stages of Obama’s campaign,  the negative noises,  normal in US elections in general,   were focused on his color, his liberal agenda and his inexperience.     His opponents in the racist South, dismissing him as one with little to no chance of going anywhere in his bid for the top boss job, were only rattled by the precedence he had set for Non-Whites to run for the great office of president of the United States.

But once Obama's real sweeping popularity became obvious and his chance of winning the election loomed larger than what his detractors thought it comfortable to contend with, Conspiracy theories began to be weaved and emerge.   Accusations ranging from his religion, his origin, and oddly enough, his membership in terrorist organizations flew left and right propelled by the nutter machinery of over the top radio talk shows.


But perhaps the most outrageous and most egregious attack designed to discredit Barack Obama and render his bid for office illegal and his winning unlawful was the question of his US birth.    A conspiracy theory of sort concocted by his most implacable enemies purported that he was not born in the United States, a constitutional condition that must be met for anyone to run for the office of president  and occupy the White House.

Confident of his position and aware of the hidden hatred,   Mr. Obama  elected to remain aloof and dismissed his attackers as unworthy of the dignity of response.   However, the attacks escalated and the Obama advisers had enough of the nonsense and showed his official birth record in the state of Hawaii ending the vicious rumor.


This is where the resemblance is to a case that has taken Egypt by storm. Mr. Hazzem Abu Ismail,   an accomplished lawyer and a conservative from the group known as the Salafi Muslims,   does not mince words when he speaks of America as the reigning Lucifer over the dominion of the Earth.   His strong position towards taking Egypt out of the subservient role to the United States and building it to full independence economically, politically and militarily has ruffled the feathers of the Neocons and the Zionists who rule the US.

History has repeated itself.    At the behest of the Obama administration a story was concocted claiming that Mr. Abu Ismail is not lawfully entitled to run in the presidential race in Egypt.   Why? His mother, the Egyptian authorities allege, was a naturalized United States Citizen. This, according to Egyptian law,  precludes Mr. Ismail from running in the race.

Mr. Ismail demanded proof of this allegation and countered by saying that his deceased mother had been holder of a permanent residency status in the US but had not been actually naturalized.   When pressed,  the Egyptian Government produced a nonsensical letter it claimed came from the United States Department of State claiming that the lady in question was naturalized in 2006 but presented no material evidence admissible at law,  nor presented any credible facts other than a perfunctory purport that the US does not tell a Lie!    Ridiculous and retarded as this may sound, it is actually all the evidence that the Egyptian government presented to support its case against Mr. Abu Ismail.


Judging by the similarity of the cases between both Mr. Obama’s detractors, who came to be known in the US as the Birthers, and Mr. Ismail’s detractors, whom I am dubbing the “Citizeners”,  it appears that this seemingly fraudulent and unsubstantiated allegation was cooked in the political kitchen of the US Department of State.




A letter from the State Department without supporting documentation in the form of official photocopies of original records with photos signatures dates and official seal of the United States is not proof of anything, much less admissible as evidence in a court of law since it seems that this is where the case will be heading in Egypt. 

It really amounts to nothing more than a sworn statement from your Aunt Gladys stating that she had seen you applying for citizenship and receiving your naturalization certificate.


And while Aunt Gladys may be telling the truth, she could also be biased, corrupt, senile or legally blind, and while a court of law would treat her kindly and take her testimony only perfunctorily under advisement it would dismiss it as inadmissible or at best insufficient evidence presented as hearsay.

US naturalized citizens pass through a myriad of procedures and Tape-Recorded Video Interviews, and their files undergo exhausting processes each of which leaves a heavy paperwork trail of archived material and authenticating documents. And once Naturalization is completed and Citizenship is granted, an ornate certificate of naturalization is presented in a highly publicized ceremony with funfair, while also Photographs are taken for official as well as ceremonial proof. All this is ready and available to any senior State Department official authorized to respond to a request for evidence submitted domestically or by a foreign entity provided that it meets the standard set of laws controlling freedom of information as well as privacy of information.

The Egyptian Ministry of the Exterior's claim that it had received Citizenship information regarding Mr. Abu Ismail's mother's status of naturalization is a lie for the simple reason that No authorization had been obtained from the deceased person or her immediate family to release this information in accordance with United States Information Privacy Law, and the US government, while has vested interest in discrediting Mr. Abu Ismail and ending his bid for Egypt's presidential election, would not risk violating Federal law and the subsequent scandal associated with that in addition to risking criminal litigation in US Courts..

Regardless of whether the allegation has any merit, surely someone in the US negative rumors machinery must have known that if they made the allegation they would have to produce the supporting evidence,  and that the supporting evidence should be more than a letter signed by Aunt Gladys swearing that she was a friend of Mr. Abu Ismail’s mother and she had seen her with her own very eyes applying for US citizenship.

Shame on you Mr. Obama, and Shame on you Hillary Clinton. I expected something a little more professional out of both of you. Next time, perhaps may I suggest a letter from Uncle Pete swearing that Aunt Gladys is not a crook!

Bird Wild Life in Egypt is Surprisingly, Well … Wild and Diverse.   But because interest in birds in Egypt is strictly constrained by taste pallets and the rather mundane iconic images of a delicious-looking roasted variety found on dinner tables, not many Egyptians know much about the wild side of Birds Life!

For example, let us examine the case of a rare type of vultures about which, there is a proverb least rare and ubiquitously common in Arabic folkloric literature.  There is a saying in Egypt’s folklore which goes like so: “Kites Don’t Just Drop Young Chicks in Flight!” … In the US, it is equivalent to, "There is No Such Thing as a Free Lunch."

A meaningful parody to this hilariously satirical folkloric reflection would be to think of a rare case in an otherwise very common species, the species of International Diplomats. .....  Dr. Muhammad Al Baradei is that rare case.  Known only to his US Zionist friends by the irreverent nickname; MoMo, His predicament brought about a huge windfall profit for him and placed it squarely into his hands as an advance payment for his dirty deed against his own country.

A generous check of  $20 Million Dollars was handed to Him by an Ardent Zionist Jew named George Soros in a special fund raising event arranged for him in the prestigious Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where he stood in front of 2000 invitation only attendees and said, " My name is "Mo  Al Baradei", I am a retired UN agency president, and am looking for a job ...!

Soros represents the Kite and the $20 Million Dollars represent the putative Dropped Young Chicks from the Skies! … Or, the American equivalent of a, supposedly, Free Lunch...!

When asked about the source of this windfall profit, Al Baradei responds by claiming it was a gift from an interested party! ... Friends-type, interested-party! ... Interested in what, we ask!  ... OK, let us just say that “The Kite Dropped it in Flight!”, he mutters! 

But the all too wise Egyptians know that “Kites Don’t Just Drop Young Chicks in Flight!” Because vultures are much too clever to loose valuables in flight, save perhaps when it is bait for a much bigger kill …. Got the parody now, MoMo? ......

And while this proverb may be as old as the Egyptian Kite, the Kite has been officially declared extinct by the Audubon Society yet the saying never did follow the Kite into extinction …. Perhaps maybe because MoMo is still around? … 

Another example of wild bird life in Egypt has to do with the unconventional Painted Snipe, which is an Egyptian Native Marsh-Land Bird, where the husband takes care of the nesting while his one-time mate goes off in search of new lovers.

This reminds me of an Egyptian female Motion Picture Director named Inas Al Deghadey. The woman, even by Western Standard, is a dingy reprobate. An old crone openly floozy and extremely profligate.
  
She calls for institutionalized prostitution and demands absolutely Free-For-All Open Sexual Libertine environment and a social milieu that promotes and encourages sexual deviancy in Egypt, where the divine law or the law of the land, for that matter, she unabashedly insists, should not interfere! …


Hence the Deghadey – Painted Snipe Laws for a New Risqué Egypt, Free From Inhibition, that , according to the profligate Old Crone or the Old Bat if you prefer, is the modern Egypt that should be …!

Philosophers and Historians are the most apt people to project the collective intellectual essence of mankind.  They embody the spirit and educate the mind of humanity. They pave a perspective of past pathways on which we can move across our present and use their wisdom as a torch to light our future. And that is why their choices for the great among men, and their judgment of their deeds in setting off mankind’s great triumphs, trials and tribulations do count.

Great philosophers and thinkers have rendered judgments on Muhammad, the prophet of Islam. In reading Alphonse de Lamartine, we stand before a judge, from the age of enlightenment; a Writer, a Poet, a Politician and Revolutionary nobility with power, wisdom, leadership and certitude.

Alphonse de Lamartine, as were all French men of his genre, was born and raised Catholic, but turned Pantheist Naturalist; which is the more moderate form of Pantheism; an arcane, little known semi-extinct faith. He is the author of the poetic masterpiece “Jocelyn and La Chute d'un ange” and wrote Histoire des Girondins, which topped the greatest of French literary works and earned him an unprecedented membership in France’s most prestigious Académie Française.

He was chosen premier for a time of turmoil for France and held the dossier of France’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. But his political career reached panacea when he was appointed member of France’s Supreme Executive Committee and was instrumental in laying the foundation of the Second Republic.

With such eminent curriculum vitae, it is hardly surprising that he should have no difficulty recognizing greatness when it came before his notice.

Ernest Renan, arguably the greatest philosopher of the school of Higher Criticism, and certainly one of the most renowned theological historians of modern time and by far, 19th century's most influential philosopher to ever write in the Franco-phonic language on Hebraic and Middle Eastern Civilizations; Judeo-Christian and Islamic.

Renan subjected the existing canonical scriptures to the same standard of historical scrutiny as any other source of history and insisted on subjecting all scriptural heritage to higher criticism. His arguments on the lack of authenticity in much of the canonical scriptures, while inspiring to the enlightened mind, earned him the wrath of the Catholic Church.

Described by France's Supreme novelist; Anatole France as the greatest modernist in France's entire literary history, Ernest Renan certainly left us with a delineating mark on the subject of discerning historical truths from pseudo-religious myths.

Renan wondered whether Moses; the Great Prophet of the Children of Israel, ever existed. And whether we can afford to muse over his "la raison sous-jacente" which might have compelled this kind of doubt, and which he attributes to both historical contradictions and scriptural inconsistencies, we mustn't waste too much time wondering about the criteria that he employed to arrive at the stark truth about Islam on which he lavished the splendor of his writing. 


Citing what he comfortably called "Islam's supreme spiritual authority", Renan called upon France to employ its moral imperatives to transcend religious hatred and accept the axiomatic inevitable when viewing The great Prophet of Islam and his sublime divine message.

Edward Gibbon, the preeminent historian of the renaissance sat musing amidst the ruins of the old Grandeur of the once great Roman Capitol, while the barefoot friars sang their vespers in the Roman Temple of Jupiter, and wondered whether the fate of the Human Race would not mimic that of Rome.  So, in other words, the idea of chronicling the crimes, follies, and calamities of mankind did not come to him from a thought vacuum. Arguably the greatest work ever written in the English language, Gibbon’s  “”Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire”” is an open Veranda looking upon the procession of Rome symbolizing the fate of the human race if the corrosive and debilitating effect of immorality is left to wreak havoc in the social fabric of mankind!

Gibbon says that when faith declines, morality follows exponentially, and when that becomes deeply entrenched cerebral capacities falter and soon man fails to recognize the delineating lines between good and ill.

When you analyze these sentiments from a 21st century perspective and view the attached video with an eye on the history of the cause and effect of mankind's trials and tribulations, you can’t help but translate it into the following muse:
